Vernon Strad plays beautifully and is in terrific shape! I would love to buy it myself, but I already own a 1962 Mt. Vernon Bach Strad. The '55 model actually has a better tone than mine, classic sound. The lacquer looks great. There is only one inconsequential dent, $10 fix. I feel the price is fair, a real collectors' item that will only increase in value."
