Pair of ADAM s3a Active Monitors Although they work great there are cosmetic flaws: the cabinets have some edge damage (doesn’t at all affect the cabinet structure), the Tolex has some typical scratches and the Tolex on bottom has seen better days. Cosmetic damage is shown in photos.Full disclosure: one of the tweeters went out a few years ago for a few minutes. It came back and it's been fine since. I’m not sure what that was about and I didn’t persue it because the problem didn’t return. Local pickup only! The S3A from Adam Professional Audio is a high-quality three-way active studio monitor designed for use in mid-sized rooms where great bass is of high importance. The ported cabinet houses two 7" woofers, one of which acts as a full-range driver, while the other reinforces frequencies below 150Hz.
