Fox Renard Model 41 Bassoon, Overhauled with all new pads! + New Protec Case! For sale is a Fox Model 41 in good condition, and includes a new Protec Case! This high quality resonite bassoon is made in the USA by Fox, one of the premier bassoon makers in the world. This instrument has standard keywork. The pads are in great condition because we have just finished overhauling this instrument and replaced the pads in the process. It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down. This is a great starter bassoon, and because of the high quality fox design, you will find that it will play better than many lesser quality wooden ones. One bocal is included with the instrument. From a cosmetic perspective, Most of the plastic body has scratching and small dings all around the instrument. The plating has been machine polished and though it shows wear on the keys, is in very nice condition overall. It shows very well from an audience perspective. That said, the photos speak for themselves. This instrument plays great, and looks great. The case is a nice fox hard case for added protection.
