These are realllllly nice amps. 12" speaker (always a pita to mod orig prinetons for a 12)Classic fender circuit with push/pull 2 Xs 6v6 power section. There are loads of opinions good and bad about the overdrive/distortion circuit in these but all agree in clean mode it is a classic fender princeton and sounds amazing.This era and this amp is associated with Rivera designs. I personally like the OD circuit in these and think a pedal adds mondo distortion just fine when that is desired. This amp and a couple pedals will cover a whole lot of ground and be a serious gig rig.This is the sound I grew up with and never seems to grow old. Fender tube clean with a real spring reverb. It just is it for me. Add Overdrive as needed and play till the girls say when.This amp has been pro owned and maintained for the last 15 years. Immediately before posting it has been run thru The Amp Shop in Asheville (long time local store front amp/elec repair business)and given a clean bill of health- no issues found. It has recent JJ tubes. It is in perfect functional condition. All parts, back panels etc are here, nothing missing, a very good example of these amps!NOT Stock; Early in it's life(before current owner) the orig reverb pan and cable was replaced. It has a full sized accutronics reverb pan that has been in it for 15 plus years and sounds great.The orig 3 pin power plug was replaced with a heavy duty yellow plug.Tubes have been replaced as needed.
