Up for grabs is truly unique and rare Teisco Spectrum 4. When I first got this thing it was virtually unplayable. Now it sings. Each of the original 4 (that's right 4) split coil pickups were so corroded they didn't make any sound. They were replaced with 4 DiPinto high output single coils stuffed inside the original enclosures. In the process I had to lose the original "Bass" and "Trebble" markings on the pickups, but replaced it with some gold foil to keep with the 60's vibe. Also replaced the bridge which was rusted out to an original Teisco roller bridge off of a different model. The Tremolo bar was long gone, so it was also replaced with a genuine Bigsby Bar adapted to fit. Someone had also installed a makeshift string tree which worked well so I kept it. This is bound to turn some heads. Has lot's of soul, and plays very smoothly. Professionally set up with 10s. The neck is straight. Get this before anyone else does. They don't show up online very often anymore, and when they do they go for way more, and don't sound as good. If you buy this, Mick Collins will be jealous.
