What kind of guitar is it?
This is an all original 1957 Martin 0-15, serial number 164948 in good condition. What condition is it in?Aesthetically, it's got scratches on the finish as seen in the pictures, but is structurally perfect. The interior is immaculate, no cracks or brace issues. It was played as a beginner guitar in the late 50's and put away for the rest of its life. It's lived in California in the Bay Area for years, so it hasn't been subject to any major fluctuations in humidity. Aside from some of the scratches, it's a great acoustic guitar, especially for having just turned 60. Hardly any fretwear, there is a little relief in the neck putting the action at the 12th fret to 9/64ths on the Low E, and 8/64ths on the high E.There is no neck joint separation, bridge lifting or fretboard separation. It looks great. Why is it being sold?
The owners no longer play the guitar, and brought it to a guitar tech to have it checked out, then they decided it was time to sell it.
