This is certainly one of the finest Hollowbody II's produced during the Joe Knaggs glory years at PRS. The One Piece top and back are almost overwhelming! I purchased it from Elderly Instruments right off the truck from Maryland. It never hit the showroom, in fact it has hardly been out of the case since the Elderly Techs checked it out on delivery. Always stored in a humidity controlled, smoke free safe. The photos tell the story quite well although it's quite impossible for photos to show the beauty and luster of this amazing piece of wood and the detailed handwork on the guitar. All the many details are readable on the PRS data sheet. It is the finest piece of art I've ever owned. I'm pushing 70 and so I have been slowly selling off my small, very select, PRS collection. I've sold three PRS Artist 24 models and a Martin Special Edition so far to very happy buyers. I am personally known to the folks at Elderly Instruments if you'd like references and you can still sometimes find an album I made with Bill Kahl back in 1970, Communication 1, which has been picked up for reissue by The Numero Group. A final note: The Hollowbody design is wonderful! The Piezo system provides great versatility and the instrument is very light and easy to handle. It's simply a most comfortable guitar. Check out the NPR Tiny Desk You Tube concert with Susan Vega and the delightful Gerry Leonard playing a HBII.I'd also point out that this was one of the last Private Stocks to come with the luxurious suede case which I personally think is the coolest looking guitar case ever made. True, it's vulnerable to scuffing but then this isn't an instrument you're going to toss in the back of the band van is it! On an instrument this select I'm sure any serious buyer will have a few questions so please don't hesitate to contact me. I paid over $11K for this instrument and today's replacement price would be around $15K so this is a good deal for the serious collector or player who wants a most special guitar.A very happy eBay member just purchased a beautiful 2007 Custom 24 Artist from me if you would like a recent (Feb 2017) reference.
