The masterpiece Sonex in the early 80's, a familiar bolt-on neck model even if each part was produced in Japan. The body shape reminiscent of Les Paul is finished with a flat top with contour and we have a tune omatic and a stop tail piece on 2 humbucking pickups.Looking at the truss rod cover with three points, you can see that the neck is made in Japan. Metallic red of dark eyes is a cool one. There is moderate feeling of use and the atmosphere is also good."Sonex-180 Custom" is originally an ebony fretboard, but this is a rosewood fretboard. From the character of the original truss rod cover and the tap switch specification, we are writing here as "Sonex - 180 Custom".Maple neck of rosewood fretboard becomes detachable specification rare in Gibson. A unique silk screen logo is cool. Fret and nut have been exchanged once, adjusted for grinding, but overall the lower fret is high but playability is good. Other pegs, bridges, strap pins, pick guards, pickup rings, screws are exchanged. The total weight is about 4.1 kg. The pickup was replaced at the front by the 1981 date dirty fingers and the rear was replaced by DiMarzio's super distortion, which is a very high power specification. It exerts its power with strong distortion.Non original case included.
