Complete unrestored 1880’s Banjay Pot and Bajolin Pot for sale. The 1st one is marked
E&F TENOR BANJAY J. Farris Hartford Ct., Pat. April 7 1885, Trademark Amateur. John Farris
Hartford CT USA engraved on the outside of the 9 inch pot. See photo's The second one is a
10 inch pot with no makers marks other than the symbol on the front of the head skin and a
signature on the inside of the skin. The tail has eight string hooks and a patent date of Oct 26 86,
which belonged to inventor Franz Schwarzer Patent No.351406. The parts are all original and I have
not attempted to clean them. The skins are obviously damaged but could be original animal skins?
Neither has a neck, only the dowel sticks inside the open backs. See photos. These makes rarely
come to market and are extremely rare and valuable when restored correctly. A complete Farris banjay
