Please feel free to contact with any additional questions or a potential offer. Thank you. This listing is for a used white Pearl drum set made up of the World Series and the Session Series model drums. This listing is for the pictured bass and tom drums, mounting arms, tom legs and ISS brackets only. All of the listed drums will come with the hoops and lugs for both sides as well as two (used, but still very usable) heads for all drums. No other hardware, pedals, cymbals, throne or snare drum are included in this listing. Let me first state that this is one of the heaviest drum sets that I have ever played or used. It is solid state, built to last and has a very full sound due to the overall density of the shells. The set is about 25 years old and has been used for many musical events, including many live jazz, rock and pop music performances, original music recording sessions for "Roots Rising" in the early 2000’s and as a “teaching to play drumset” set. The shipping fees on the packaged drums may be reduced if the buyer wishes to pick the drums up rather than have them shipped. Originally, Pearl's World Series drum sets were made to fill the void between the Export and Masters series models (both in price and quality). The World Series sets had various shell compositions over time, and came in both wrapped and lacquered models. The Session Series drum sets were made from 100% Maple or Birch shells and came standard with the Opti-Mount suspension system (ISS mounts). The Session series drums were extremely popular, but expensive, and the line was discontinued in 2008. Overall, there is nothing majorly wrong with these drums, they are just not being used and the set has been in storage for many years (in fact, the heads had to be tightened for the picture). Aesthetically, even though these drums were babied for years, there are still the obviously typical scrapes and dents on the drum wrap of different shells. The drums are slightly faded in areas that typically are exposed to lighting. The biggest noticeable scrapes are actually on the inside of the 16” floor tom. These marks occurred when the drums were first purchased and shipped in the early 1990’s. The packaging was done poorly and the hardware scraped the wood on the inside. My formal complaint was given a response that it was the shipping company’s fault, even though the packaging job was less than par. These marks have never affected the function of the drum or the sound in any way though. The specifics of the items included in this listing are as follows: 22” x 16” 10-lug World Series bass drum Metal hoops Bottom two lugs on each side are drum key lugs Tom arms have top and bottom memory locks Bass drum legs have memory locks with adjustable spikes and oversized rubber feet Batter head is a Remo Weatherking Ebony Pinstripe Resonant head is a Pearl logo Ebony single ply16” x 16” 8-lug World Series floor tom Each leg has memory locks Each leg mount has an adjustable quick release Batter head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Pinstripe Resonant head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Diplomat13” x 11” 6-lug World Series tom Batter head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Pinstripe Resonant head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Diplomat12” x 10” 6-lug World Series tom Batter head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Pinstripe Resonant head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Diplomat14” x 12” 8-lug Session Series tom Batter head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Pinstripe Resonant head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Diplomat10” x 10” 6-lug Session Series tom Batter head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Pinstripe Resonant head is a Remo Weatherking Clear Diplomat2 Pearl Integrated Suspension System mounts 4 Pearl Mounting Tom Arms 2 – 6” x 13” tom arms with drum key locks 2 – 3” x 13” tom arms with hand tightening locks
