marked "repairs" and dated 1959 it appears the trombone was most likely factory relacquered. The original engraving remains clear and the body lacquer is overall excellent with some minor scratches mostly to the nickle plated portions of the slide handle area.  There are a few areas of slight loss of lacquer and there is a small bell tube dent found to the very back portion of the bell tube.  On the lower underside portion of the bell there is a ping small indentation and two very small crease dents. These are found to bottom side of bell about halfway from the bell edge.The slide shows no plating wear and the slide and slide action are superb.Unfortunately the original King wood case although very solid has a very strong musty odor and will have to be professionally cleaned or replaced if kept as the odor is extreme.Trombone will be very carefully packaged.  Shipped Priority Mail with required signature within 2 business days.
