Description Brand: Sho-Bud Exact Year: 1974 Type: Electric Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
For sale: My Sho-Bud "The Professional" double neck (D-10) pedal steel guitar with serial number 5166, manufactured in February 1974 and recently refurbished by Lamb's Music in Fort Worth, Texas. The guitar plays beautifully and is relatively blemish free, with the exception of the aluminum fretboard, which shows the 1974 vintage. The guitar has 8 pedals and 4 teardrop knee levers. Comes with the original case (which has a little damage) and pedal rod bag. Sho-Bud guitars of the late 60's and early 70's are the benchmark for the classic country sound. This guitar has that incredible, classic pedal steel tone in spades. The rack and barrel mechanical system underneath makes changing the setup extremely easy. The guitar is set up with the standard tuning on both the E9 and C6 necks.
