If you are looking for a preamp that actually sounds different from everything else out there, this is it.I've been searching 20 years for this sound, and I finally found it with these Collins.I have all that I need at this point, so I'm offering up a couple of spares to buy some microphones.The input transformers are different from what you usually see, but they are Collins-issued stock transformers for these modules.The output transformers are the typical Thordarsons that you would usually see.This module is sold as is.These modules are very easy to navigate and work on.All of the documentation is easily found online.Three of the PIO capacitors have been replaced (at some point).C102: Input Plate Decoupling (1mf)C111: Output Plate Bypass (1mf)C112: Output Plate Blocking (1mf)I have spares (including the mounting hardware!!) that I will send along with the module.
The RCA tubes included have been tested on my calibrated Hickok 800a, which is also for sale.It will be shipped with the tube shields.
