Hello,You're bidding on a *mint*mint*mint* matched stereo pair of of Neumann KM 184 microphones in matt black finish. And my definition of mint is the same as yours. The box and original packing are also in mint condition. You can consider these as having come straight from the Neumann factory in Germany, but for hundreds less. No reserve.They come with the original gorgeous wooden box, two windscreens (which have NEVER been removed from the box), two microphone clips, all of the original packing and the exterior box, documentation in English and German, AND as an extra, a stereo holding bar that I purchased separately that allows you to hold both microphones on a single mic stand that allows you to capture a perfect stereo performance  (see picture).  I purchased them brand new at Thomann Musik in Burgebrach, Germany in 2014 while I was stationed nearby. I then moved to Virginia in 2016, and they've been sitting in the box ever since due to an engineering job that has me on the road a little too often, leaving no time for recording like in the good ol' days. Given the family commitments I have when I'm not on the road coupled with new house expenses, I just can't justify having them sit around indefinitely when....YOU could be using them for hundreds less than elsewhere on eBay, Sweetwater, or anywhere else.  Please see the other instruments I also have currently listed for the same reason. All of my gear is stored in a smoke- and pet- free humidity and temperature-controlled studio (what else did you expect from an anal-retentive engineer?).If you're reading this, chances are you're already familiar with the stellar performance of the Neumann KM184 microphones - which is why I bought them in the first place. And the few times I did use them, they performed as expected.
