Beautiful Emo Balanced Action Trumpet. This is the same model apparently that Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong played for a period of time. The story goes that "Balanced" horns, in which the valves were placed a little closer to the bell, were a result of a request from Satchmo to make a more comfortable trumpet for him. Selmer also made very similar trumpets for Louis Armstrong. The Emo balanced horns seem to be much rarer. This horn shows very little use. Everything functions as it should. See photos. It's beautiful. No patches. It is is probably well over 50 years old. It is not "perfect", but it is in amazing condition and easily the best looking Emo I've seen. A little over a year ago this trumpet was professionally re-plated, cleaned and serviced by Kanstul.The compression is very good and all the slides and valves work very well. You could gig on this trumpet with no reservations. Comes with what I believe is the original case, which includes two keys which work with the latches, which still "spring". The case shows amazingly little wear. In addition to the case, it will include NY Mt Vernon Bach 7c mouthpiece, and a Schilke 11. Included also is a beginning attempt someone put together of a list of manufacturer names and some contact information. Also includes some model names.
