legendary es 175 archtop from matsumoko..endorsed and played by herb ellis until the production ceased,upon which he resumed the gibson endorsement..this has an L7 BODY..to 175 dimensions..more pictures and full description tommorow..serial number 008012..original hard case..i bought this instrument in 2002..and has been my main instrument until recently...the neck was skimmed on its upper plane by alan harshaw .luthier london..and a repair/ refinish to a headstock crack...the... fallen from an amp... story...which is perfectly repaired..this was all present when i obtained the guitar...the tuners are really superb..these guitars were only marginally less expensive than the gibsons and built to similar standards..there is a soundpost present connecting table to back..behind the bridge...a really fine guitar which never fails to give ...maple laminate body..mop inlays..mahogany neck..ebony fingerboard..paf type warm humbucking pups..will get accurate post rates very soon..please ask questions
