1996 Rickenbacker Model 1997 Rose Morris Reissue Fireglo w/ tremolo and original Rickenbacker silver hardcaseThis is a beautiful guitar and it sports a lovely, rich Rickenbacker fireglo finish that is more 1960's looking than the recent ones.Everything is stock and all original. It does have a few scratches on the upper, left horn but other than that this is a clean guitar with no buckle wear and a very clean neck. The frets are original and exhibit little wear. The chrome is still factory shiny.The sound of this Rickenbacker is wonderful. Just listen to the Zombies' "Friends of Mine" to hear what an old 6-string Rickenbacker sounds like through a Vox AC-30 (Paul Atkinson played this very model). It has a warm, full-bodied tone that cuts through a band very well. I just love it but it needs to find a new home to be played more.Serial number is B9 9410 which corresponds to a February of 1996 manufacture date.This comes with the original silver Rickenbacker case. The case exhibits some wear (scratches and scrapes) but it works perfectly with all the latches present.It also comes with the original Rickenbacker hangtag noting that serial number and date of manufacture, instruction manual, and polishing cloth.Shipping is $60 fully insured in the USA through UPS Ground.
