Guitar is like new.  Purchased from Wildwood Guitars in February 2017.This 1958 Wildwood Spec Custom Historic from the Gibson Custom Shop Reissue sounds amazing!  You can hear all the tones so clearly, highs, mids, lows.  They all jump out and resonant like crazy.  Very open and airy, as well as resonant.  Wildwood hand selected the lightest tone woods making this R8 very light at 8.14 lbs.See and hear it on the attached Youtube video. Part of this excellent sound is the light weight tone woods hand selected by Wildwood, the longer studs for the bridge to give a more piano like fast resonant attack, and the underwound Custom Buckers, wound to Wildwood's specifications.  Underwound pickups allow the high end tones to become more present so you can hear the whole tone range better, not just the low end.  All the gain you need is there in your amp and pedals, but your sound will have much more clarity and articulation.It was made in late 2014 so, like the orignal '58s it has the long neck tennon, no truss rod cover, and hot hide glue for the maple top and rosewood fretboard.Comes with COA, all other original tags, and original Wildwood Gibson Custom Shop Hard Case.Here is the detailed description from Wildwood Guitars:
