Hi there, This is an esquire i've had lying around for a bit but haven't given it much time so i thought i'd pass it on as i'm more of a strat guy. Here's the detail and specs of the instrument: From what i can see when i take the pickguard off there's routing for a telecaster neck pickup should you wish to change it into a full telecaster set up. The body is finished in Nitro which as aged and worn slightly and nicely. Colour seems to be Shell Pink over Vintage 2-Tone Sunburst. There is golden coloured Alder wood shining through from underneath, with beautiful grain pattern and beautiful looking wood. Pickguard seems to be a light mint green colourAlso included is a genuine 50's style 1-ply pickguard at the proper thickness. (See Photos for Alt Configuration).The 'PAT-PENDING' A-Serial number on the bridge seems to suggest a date from the mid 80's. Bridge pickup is a Creamery Vintage 2 (Broadcaster) Alnico 2. But i thought i'd include it so you can see what the guitar is like in a telecaster style configuration.Comes with Brass Saddles and also Slotted Steel saddles so you can choose your preference. Also comes with an old Black Bakelite telecaster pickguard. The Neck seems to have been replaced at some point. It's a 50's style profile, 9.5" Radius, Medium Frets, Aged Nitro, Natural Wearing on the maple fretboard, Medium C profile. The Neck profile also appears to have been sanded a little at some point giving it a very slightly asymmetrical shape. Feels VERY NICE and natural in the palm. (Smooth satin feel at the back). Vintage Kluson Tuners and String Tree. Electronics appear to be in good condition with Orange Drop cap and no-load tone pot. I don't have the original Hardcase but can supply a third party one for storage and shipping. Currently set up with a set on D'ddarrio 11s.
