Vintage 1976 Fender Strat Hard Tail Offered for sale is a Vintage 1976 Fender Stratocaster Hard Tail. The action is great and the guitar plays well with fabulous tone from the original gray bottom pickups. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. There is life remaining on the frets. The original clear coat finish on the maple fingerboard is worn on the first position frets and a small worn area on the 12th fret. The pots have 1976 date code stamps. As far as I can tell, all parts are original with the possible exception of the bridge saddles. The original case shows some wear, but is solid.
As the photos show, the guitar finish looks great with some dings. There is some checking that contributes to the vintage vibe.
