Authentic, Vintage, All Original AKG C12 Tube Microphone, from 1957.
It was recently inspected, and was found completely Authentic.
Never repaired, and all original.
Electrically it's still in Perfect condition with no need in any kind of service.
- PSU is all original and rare AKG N12 K (Kurtz, earlier model), its like new inside, marked 05Apr1957.
Heating adjusted to 6,2V. The Sound of N12 "Kurtz" is softer and much interesting then the modern N12 vers.
- Capsule is original, big (26mm, not 25mm as inside C24 and other later C12), earlier brass, both sides works perfect, and sounds just amazing.
Highs is glossy, lows is full and creamy mids.
- All patterns works as should, acoustically and electrically correct
- U2 Switch is also all original with Siemens MP, and ingelens inside.
- This microphone uses the legendary old T14/1, (as used in ElaM251 mics).
- The tube inside is "Lear" black plates 6072, which is the most highest grade, and sounds better than other GE.
- Cables, Connectors and sweevel mount works perfect.
- Was only changed pads on capsule holder system with newer. (To keep capsule in cleen space)
