It has a beautiful sunburst antique brown sunburst finish on its spruce top and flame maple sides and back. The pickguard and bottom of the neck cap are a nice pearloid. The bass has a vintage feel with a medium action and flatwound strings yet is still easy to play. The frets are in excellent condition.The 2 "Staple " pickups have an authentic tone and the traditional 500/1 style tone controls let you dial the perfect sound for any tune. This bass plays nice and has a great tone (just like the tone you've heard on a lot of Beatles recordings) Includes the nice, protective aluminum sided hard shell case and strap. Made in Germany. Hofner 500/1 Vintage '62 Electric Violin Bass in excellent condition. It has a beautiful sunburst antique brown sunburst finish on its spruce top and flame maple sides and back.
