Fibes Austin Era Crystallite Amber 7x12 Snare Drum with Trick Throw-off in MINT Condition, unused condition. These Austin Era drums are getting harder and harder to find these days and more and more drummers recognize what little works of art they truly are. This drum sounds fantastic, big, full and fat with a clarity of tone that is truly impressive. The bearing edges are a work of art, nicer than any acrylic drum I have ever seen. The drum sounds great tuned low, medium, and high. It really cuts, but never gets harsh...it projects a nice fat tone at any tuning range. The drum comes with the famous Fibes tom bumper which prevents any tom rash. It's a great little device. The Trick snare throw-off tops it off nicely with what is arguably the best snare throw-off made today. The beautiful amber acrylic makes this drum an instant classic. The drum is completely original as it came from the factory and I am the original owner. NOTE: I have this drum's two bigger brothers available as well: 5.5x14 and 6.5x14, both with the SFT Parallel Strainers! Both in Amber Crystallite! Shipping is $35 anywhere in the lower 48 states.
