Up for sale is my prized and well cared for Earthworks SR77 microphone pairVery high SPL handling capability and very hot output signal.Earthworks SR77is a directional condenser microphone which delivers a natural, uncoloredrepresentation of the sound as it arrives at the front of the mic. The SR77 maintains most ofthe being there quality of our omnis. Its on-axis performance is smooth and open. Its sonic timbre is uniform across its entire front hemisphere of pick up.
The SR77’s impulse response is fast and smooth. It will handle quite hot signals. It has very low handling noise. The off-axis rejection is very thorough and uncolored. For recording applications the value of its superb sound quality and uncolored directionalityis obvious. The SR77 offers superior performance for a wide variety of applications, especiallyguitar, sax, flute, drums and voice. Concert tapers seem to love the SR77. It is rugged enoughfor high quality sound reinforcement. (There are no peaks to encourage feedback and the rearrejection is unusually good) The SR77 is powerful for broadcast and vocal productionapplications where its lifelike clarity and detail enhance communication through realism. If you are looking for a directional microphone with full, open, detailed sound, your searchhas ended! Once you use the SR77 you will wonder how you ever got along without it
