Selling my 6-string bass. Only reason for the sale is to fund another purchase. I purchased this bass new in 2005. The 1006EFM was the flagship model for the SR line for its year of manufacture.
It is a very comfortable bass to play due to the thin neck profile. It has low action and stays in tune forever. This bass plays and sounds AMAZING! Bass features:

Rosewood Fingerboard
24 Frets
Bartolini pickups
Premium active pre-amp with 3-band tone adjustment with a sweepable mid... this is a rare and versatile feature.

Natural Satin FinishI played the bass in my church praise band. It was stored it in its case when not in use in my smoke free home. The bass will ship with the original hard shell case and I will also throw in a set of Dunlop strap locks. I replaced the strings and battery in April 2017.
I've only used Elixir Nanoweb strings. Gauges: 130tw, 105, 85, 65, 45, 32 - this is what came on the bass from the factory. The only issues with this bass are cosmetic. As you can see from the pictures there are a couple very small nicks on the head stock and body. There are two and barely noticeable nickel sized areas on the body (south of the pickups) where the finish has rubbed off a bit - this is only visible at the correct angle and lighting. One of the tuning pegs is missing a back cover plate - I am not sure how, why or when it came off. The truss rod cover is missing one of the screws. These are negligible issues that DO NOT affect playability in any way. The screw and tuner plate are replaceable parts. The neck is very straight. The frets have very little wear - if any. I have used the bass sparingly and taken excellent care of it over the years. I will gladly answer any questions you have regarding this fine instrument. I will ship the bass anywhere in the contiguous US via UPS within 2 business days after payment is verified through PayPal for a flat rate of $50.
