Thank you for looking at this auction - Fender 1977 Strat Project Guitar     For sale is a 1977 Fender Stratocaster which would make a nice project for someone to put back together, or just use the parts for other Strat style projects. The guitar is complete, although some of the original parts were missing and have been replaced with newer reproduction parts, such as the tuners, bridge, nut and some electrical parts. Please look at the pictures showing all the parts included. The body has the original Olympic White finish, but was covered with a dark gray metallic paint and what appears to be a polyurethane clear coat. I began to remove it, but decided not to continue with the project. I believe the body wood is ash and it weighs 3 lbs 13 oz. so the finished guitar would be very comfortable to play. The pickups appear to be original but the wiring needs to be completely re-done. The case is also original but has some stickers attached to the inside lining.
