This is a 1990 Deering Standard, this is the precursor to the Deering Sierra, Mahogany neck and pot with the signature bell bronze tonering. Has Planet tuners. This banjo has been played and looks the part for 27 yrs old. Have tried to show flaws in pics, from finish flaws, extreme wear on armrest and crack repair on resonator. Its a great player with low action, has nice voice. Professional grade banjo, just needs a new home, will ship in new case...includes Levy cradle strap, has tacks installed at 5,7 and 9th fret to enable playing in other keys. Seller will pay shipping and insurance costs. This is a fair price, you might purchase something that looks better but you cant touch the quality of this instrument for the money.Thanks for reading.
