1975 Fender Vibrolux Reverb! It produces 35 watts from two 6L6 power tubes. It has two 10" speakers. Has been professionally maintained continuously the 15 years I've owned it. The circuitry has been "Blackfaced", and the popular "soul control" mod was done (completely reversible, see knob on back next to speaker jack). It is like a presence control (I never used it much; amp kills on all settings). Google the soul switch mod for more info. Very clean cosmetically. Control plate is nice and clean, tolex has a few minor dents. One of the metal corners got bent, and I took it off. Top backplate is missing. This amp sounds incredible, the reverb is spectacular. This is one of those classics that just SOUNDS GOOD, and it is very easy to play and get great dynamics and touch sensitivity. I've played many many many gigs with this amp, but you would never know looking at it! It looks pretty cherry, and comes with a later Fender cover that doesn't fit exactly right. When I got it, the previous owner had replaced the speakers with Jensen reissue "blue" speakers. It has a few minor nicks in the tolex, but nothing noticeable. The corners and cut edges of the tolex are clean and crisp. This is not a "restored" amp; it is maintained, however, and a new, extra-long cord has been added. Ready for serious duty!!Another very useful mod is the "intensity" control for the tremolo is an on/off switch...when turned all the way down, it has a "click", which turns the tremolo off completely (this a reversible mod). It gives you a tiny bit more headroom when you turn it off. Tremolo works well.I've had this in for servicing recently, with a qualified tech. Tubes are all tested and good (mix of newer and vintage). I have Sovtek 6L6's in it for power tubes, and a 5AR4 rectifier, which is a cheap Chinese reproduction. I used a 5U4 tube in it extensively, to give it a little less "bite", but I'll leave that choice up to the new owner. The Sovtek 6L6s are used, but test good. This amp will blow away one of the newer reissues. Aside from a few minor cosmetic issues, for a 42 year old amp this amp looks really good. This is a great sounding amp! I've moved on to other (lighter) gear, so this one needs to find an owner who will play it!
