I have never seen a Bassoon before, this is the first one.  The instrument is pre owned, from a storage unit.  In good overall physical condition.  I did not try to play the instrument or have it checked by a music dealer.  The Bassoon is sole has you see it in the photos, if any questions, will do my best to answer.The Fox Bassoon is in the original case.  The pieces are all in good condition.  Slight scuffs to the body of the unit, the chrome shows some wear from normal use.  The keys are all good, not sticky.  Cork piece missing a part on one key that I found.  One cork piece where it fits together has tape on it so it would probably need replacement cork.  The mouthpiece is in good condition.  There are three reeds in the case.  A metronome in the case, it is in working order.The hard case is in good condition, closures hold tight, handle on the top is broken on one side, slight scuffs to the case, white paint of some sort on the lid.  Outer plastic cover is damaged, zipper is broken but covers the case.  Two instruction books with the unit, Practical Method for the Bassoon, Julius Weissenborn and The Contra-Bassoon, Cornelia Anderson Biggers.  Weissenborn Method for Bassoon.  All are soft cover music books.The price reflects that need for repairs.The Bassoon and case weigh 19# without the packing box.I only ship on Tuesday of each week.
