1985 jackson Randy Rhoads Student (San Dimas Factory) with Jackson CaseIf Tone is your mission than this is in a class all its own. I feel no Poly/vinyl painted RR will touch this. Its is the first era of Jackson guitars and will always be of value...This is a players guitar, I like the Worn in look and wanted a San Dimas I could play and found this. Its got an amazing neck and the tone is as good as anything. This has been refinished from Red and it has Nitro Lacquer on it now. The difference in tone was so huge that i'm confident saying this is one of the better sounding Randy Rhoads guitars you will find. The Paint job itself is 6-10 years old. all the white is pinstriping by hand with paint and done very well. Its the real deal. Not a Relic but an original. Jacksons just wont relic because of the damn paint they use is so impervious to damage.FYI I installed a proper Floyd Nut for improved dynamicsIf the buyer wants a Seymour black winter bridge instead of the EMG's i'd install one and put back in the OG jackson Neck for no extra charge -allow 1 day.3 day return, buyer pays shipping.
