The Blue Book Says…..Les Paul Standard Limited Edition w/50s or 60s Neck (LPS5/LPS6)– similar to Les Paul Standard, except has a 50s/60s neck with nickel hardware, ebony fretboard available in Black Cherry (disc.), Desert Burst, Ebony, Gold Top, Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Honey Burst, Iced Tea, Light Burst, Manhattan Midnight Blue (disc., limited edition run of 275 instruments), Pacific Reef (disc.), Root Beer (disc. 2007), Santa Fe Sunrise (disc.), Trans. Amber (disc.), Vintage Sunburst (disc.), or Wine Red (disc.) finish, mfg. 2002-08.I say….In great condition – even has the optional pickguard still in the neck pocket of the case. There are a few light scratches – probably due to cleaning!The neck and frets are in excellent condition, the neck does however have a small indentation across the back of the neck due to it being leant against an amp or table. The lacquer isn’t broken, but you can see where it is, whilst you can feel it under your thumb when you’re playing, it is smooth and does not impede playing in any way. It’s an Ebony fretboard and ’60’s style slim neck, as detailed in the shop sticker that’s still in place on the back control cavity cover.Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups and all original electronics are in great condition, crackle free and fully functional.Comes with Original Gibson Hardcase as pictured – also in great condition.I accept Paypal (preferred), personal cheque , cash on collection and direct bank transfer. Payment must be arranged within 3 days of the agreement to purchase, otherwise the item will be relisted and negative feedback will be left free of charge. Money must clear into my account prior to collection/despatch. The items will be despatched via Royal Mail for small items and UPS for larger items, insured where appropriate, usually within 24 hours of receipt of funds. I'm doing this to raise money to support AIDS orphans in Africa, and 10% of any money I make automatically goes to these children (see for more information).
