Vintage MXR Flanger Doubler MXR 126. Rare original analogue effects rack unit.
Estimated price for orientation: 485 $
Category: Vintage Pro Audio Equipment
Class:
Description Brand: MXR Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
A rare and desirable vintage flanger doubler used by so many famous bands during the 70's and 80's. I love what these flangers do so much that I bought 2 of them years ago. The best sounding and most versatile flanger ever in my opinion. I need down size so I'm selling this one and keeping the other. This unit came from the USA and it's still running on the 110v with it's original USA plug. I have a converter but I need this for another unit, so if the buyer is not in USA you will need a converter (easy to find on line). I've taken lots of picture so you can see the condition. I tested it today and all appears to be working well. It sounds great ! LED's working correctly, I tested both front and back inputs / outputs and both are working fine. All knobs, dials etc are working well and feel nice and solid, a couple of them have a slightly stiffer feel than the others but no crackling or hissing noises from any of them. There is one screw missing from the side panel and as the pictures show there are some marks and scrapes around the unit, but overall it looks good and sounds warm and rich. This is an original vintage item from the 70's / 80's and being sold as is. I'll be sorry to see it go but I can't justify having a spare one of these anymore. I will pack it well and send securely.
