Here is the re-issue of the original big daddy made famous by Hendrix and adopted by EVH and countless others, the Marshall 1959 Plexi SLP Super Lead 100. I think it's from the early 1990's. I've had it for about ten years. It's the signature tone you can't get with trickery/pedals/processing. It's also RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. And kind of burly to transport. So I'm getting something smaller in its place. I've done no work to it. Played only one in-town gig with it.
