The 90s was a VERY good time for Gibson. After being under new ownership for a few years, the kinks of the new take over were starting to come out. The 90s brought forth some of the nicest woods that Gibson has ever used since the 50s. Many fans call the early 90s Les Paul’s to be from the “Good Wood Era.” Customs from this time period typically have great sound; playability and feel. This one is pretty exceptional in its sound, playability and feel!For a 25 year old guitar, it is in very good shape. No major dings anywhere, and and relatively small number of scratches. Strings are fresh. Has the original PAF Humbuckers. Original case is not included. Instead the SKB case pictured here is included - it fits the guitar very nicely. I'm sad to see this one go, but the fact is I hardly ever play it and I'd rather it go to someone that will use it more often.
