For sale is my 1997 big apple strat in shorline gold. First year of production for this guitar. I've owned the guitar for about 12 years and have really enjoyed it. Very versatile guitar and very unique. Guitar is all original save for the upgraded fender locking tuners that as you probably know install in the factory knub holes already on the headstock so there are no extra holes left behind. Factory Seymour Duncan pearly gates and 59 pickups sound great and the medium jumbo frets are in good condition with plenty of life. Guitar is in very good condition for its age but does have some character. Has a decent paint chip on lower bout on the edge near the jack. Has a small ding on the headstock edge as well as a few very small impressions various places on the body along with some light scratches visible when held in certain lights. But guitar presents very well and is beautiful with some cool character to it. Everything works as it should. Guitar is currently set up with Ernie ball bottom heavy strings which gives it a chunky feel. New owner may wish to have it set up to their liking and the strings are probably due for changing anyway but it plays and sounds good as it sits. I hate to see this baby go as I've owned it a long time now and have really enjoyed playing it and admiring it on my wall. I hope the next owner appreciates and enjoys it as I have. Guitar will come with fender hardshell case. Will also be packed securely and insured for purchase amount.
