The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. 2003 Gibson Custom Shop Tom Murphy aged Gary Rossington Les Paul SG in a beautiful aged and faded cherry finish. There is only a handful of these that built that were aged by Tom Murphy with Brazilian rosewood fingerboards. The Brazilian Rossingtons fall are between serials 13001-13075, this being one of the earliest at serial 13003. The attention detail on the aging job is fantastic, going as far as to even adding correct fade finish tan lines under the pickguard and hardware. Overall this guitar is absolutely killer and truly and the feel, tone, and vibe of a 55 year old SG Les Paul. Comes complete with an original hardshell case, paperwork, and COA.
