Art Deco Antique 1920s Western Electric Carbon Ring Microphone with CBS Flag.. This 'spring' Carbon Ring Microphone is truly a classic from the magical early days of radio, 100 years ago. It is a stunning conversation piece and is captivating in any setting. The mic has been beautifully nickel-plated and has zero flaws. The vivid text on the base reads: Western Electric Made In USA and on the opposite side: Pat In USA Aug 16 04, Sept 13 04, Jan 26 16. The mic has not been tested as we don't have the proper equipment. The period CBS flag is a perfect replica and appears to be laser cut out of heavy metal (probably steel).
