A 1963 pair of Vox Alnico Blue 12 inch with original Pulsonic Cones Cone markings 48H1777- the story behind these immaculate all original blues is they were removed from an AC30 in the late 1960s by record producer the late Martin Hannett and used in a home hi fi system on a small 5 watt valve amp hence the virtually immaculate cones and paintwork- paintwork may have been touched up down the years but they really do look and sound like The Rolls Royce of 1963 Vox Speakers- no travelling about in the back of a guitar combo for 50 years with mains plugs and foot switches getting thrown against the speaker cones in damp vans. These speakers have had light music studio hi fi use in a dry environment so if you want the sound of a showroom 1963 Vox Blue Alnico for your vintage amp and cab set up these really are gems
