YAMAHA YTS25 TENOR SAXOPHONEI have owned this saxophone for about a year and a half. It is a beautiful instrument with a gold lacquered body and chrome plated keys and rods which gives a striking finish.Stephen Howard (author of the Haynes Saxophone Manual) praised the early Yamaha student instruments. I must agree that this is solidly made and safe in the hands of students!Supplied with original case, Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature and cap, Yamaha neck strap and a floor stand (if you collect it). This is my first saxophone in my ever growing collection and I simply can not keep them all...It was serviced last year (£211 for clean up, rebalance and some new pads).I contacted Yamaha Germany to establish that this instrument was made in 1996, Japan obviously. There is a small mark in the lacquer on the neck and inside the rim of the bell, but otherwise lovely and clean. Certainly not obvious in the photos and hard to show which should tell you how clean this is.Interested buyers are encouraged to come and view / play test. I have packaging for couriering but in this instance I would prefer collection or a delivery agreement as most couriers seem to limit the value of insurance where musical instruments are concerned. Check it out. If you wish to arrange a courier, no problem - I will package it up in a suitable box for transit, but at your own risk.Mouthpiece is well used but sound. It bares a few marks from two decades of use, but with a new bite pad it will be good as new.As above, if you collect I will throw in a floor stand, but if posting it won't fit in the packaging I have so be advised...
