The original natural finish has aged to an attractive golden brown patina. There is some normal playing wear, primarily a few nicks and dings, and there is an area of surface scratches behind the bridge, as seen in the close-up. The fingerboard width at the stringnut is 1.5 –inches, and the neck depth is a medium slim ‘C’ shaped neck contour. The string action is low, the neck is straight, and the guitar plays really well. It appears to have had a professional fret dressing…. They are worn but there’s no fret buzzing. This vintage Gibson weighs only 7 pounds, 15.6 ounces, so it is easy on your shoulders to play for long periods while standing. It comes in a very nice hard-shell case manufactured by the Stone Case Company. We offer a 48-hour approval period with money back guarantee, except shipping costs, so feel free to bid with confidence. Choose 'Buy It Now' and we pay all shipping and insurance costs in the continental U.S., and half the mailing costs overseas. Buyers in Australia must pay $395 to receive this guitar through Fed-Ex, because the post office won't accept this large of a package through normal priority mail. We can't simply unbolt this neck as with a Fender electric to reduce the size of the shipping box to go through the mail. Thanks for your interest.
