Up for sale is a vintage Gretsch "Round Badge" 4pc Drum Set, in "Tangerine Sparkle" finish. Made in USA, 60s era, Round Badge, sizes include: 20x14 bass drum, 16x16 floor tom, 13x9 tom, and 14x5.5 snare drum; silver interiors, shell interior tags are present, missing some lug mounting screws on the bass drum (fully functional, but worth mentioning), some wrap lift at the seam on all the drums, the floor tom and rack tom resonant hoops are non-original, non-original tension rods on the resonant sides of the floor tom and mounted tom, snare drum does not have heads or snare wires, throw-off is a bit finicky, but fully functional, all shells show some cosmetic wear, wrap is in beautiful condition, virtually zero fade, deep and bold tangerine color on all drums, some scratches and scuffs, some light oxidation on the hardware, the bearing edges on the resonant side of the 13" tom shows wear (there are a number of small chips around the edge; refer to pics), all drums have original mufflers (2 mufflers on the floor tom, 2 mufflers on the mounted tom, 1 muffler on the bass drum, 1 muffler on the snare), the bass drum hoops have some segments missing in the inlays (covered by the bass drum claws when assembled), 1 of the 2 bass drum hoops looks to be non-original (only apparent upon close inspection), the bass drum l-arm bracket mount has a non-original mounting hole drilled into it by the previous owner (no holes have been drilled into the shell, only the mount; refer to pics), see pics for details. Aside from the snare drum, heads are included on all drums; however, considering how modern heads fit snug on these shells, i would recommend new heads for the drums. The bass drum has a new Aquarian Modern Vintage coated head that will be included in the sale, which fits perfect; all other heads are standard/modern models, and fit pretty tight.
