This 2545 gram ride cymbal boasts a beautiful tone with "dragon's breath" shank crash, a woody and projecting stick attack, nice stick feel, a complex but controlled wash, and a well integrated bell with excellent clarity. There are no cracks, no keyhole, no flea bites, no dings, no bends. The center hole will fit over the receiving bolts on modern stands and is not eccentrically placed. The cymbalsmith's signature under the bell is retained and clear. The stamp appears to be a newer new stamp, placing its vintage somewhere between 1972 and '76. There are two rivet holes placed exactly opposite the stick target area as the cymbal likes to sit on the stand consistently in this tilted playing position.I never thought I'd part with this pie as it has been carefully culled from the ones I have bought and sold over the years.
