Description Vintage 1983 / 1984 Tokai Goldstar Sound 60s Reissue Sunburst Strat The early 80's Goldstar Sound strats were built in Japan to an extremely high quality, exceeding the quality of many Fender guitars today. This is a particular model is the 60' reissue w/ 1 piece ash body & poly finish along with a beautiful veneered rosewood cap neck. We believe this to be an ST50 as it comes with highly sought-after USA grey bottom pickups (stamped VI) and cloth wire.Service History We pride ourselves on our inspection and set up of each guitar, making this ready to plug in and play. Please note that this is set up to a standard The Music Locker deems saleable. Personal preference may differ so please see the Product Details section above. Cosmetic Inspection Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description. This is in excellent condition. An absolute beauty! We struggle to find anything worth mentioning other than a few minor dings & scratches pictured. Please do bear in mind this is almost 35 years old so will not be in the exact condition it left the factory. Originality In our opinion, this is all original. Summary Overall, this is a very rare and collectable guitar. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment.
