Purchased from 3rd owner 10 years ago. Clav had been in storage for a while so its time to part ways and use the $ to purchase some different gear. Considering the age I would say this is in excellent condition, there are a few dings and scratches which the pictures show pretty well. The tolex is still in good condition with no rips or tears. The keys had new strings, yarn, and hammer tips when purchased. All rocker switches and pickups work. The volume pot is cracked but works fine. The strings on keys 50 and 55 are broken. Clav plays great, but if recording I think the strings would best be replaced, and have the yarn upgraded to the Clavigel system. If not that it at least needs a good tuning. Has no legs but does come with the much more rare music stand.I MADE A YOUTUBE VIDO OF THE CLAVINET but ebay wont let me post it for some reason/ I cant figure it out. Message me and I will send you the link, it shows the notes being played, rocker switches being tested, and an overall view of the condition of the wood and tolex. If you would like more detailed pictures or have additional questions please ask, I am trying to be as transparent as possible and want this to go a good home. Because of the age of the keyboard and sheer agony of shipping it I will not accept returns. The shipping on this is crazy, UPS has some pretty strict guidelines where they pretty much have the store pack it for you with materials only they can sell you in order to qualify for reimbursement in case damage occurs. The Clav is 47 x 16.5 x 7 inches and weighs 60 lbs. UPS requires 4 inches per side so the shipping dimensions will be 55 x 24.5 x 15 and Im not sure the exact shipping weight but I would say at least 70 lbs. If you are curious about the shipping you can use this info to get a good estimate from UPS.If you live close you can pick up locally. In order to be completely fair with the shipping I would prefer to have the winning bidder wait for me to send them an invoice so I can accurately charge for shipping plus packing materials.
