Hammond XK3C custom configuration B3 rig FOR SALE.While I could break up this auction into individual pieces I think there is more value to one buyer if it is sold altogether.Both upper and lower manuals are included in this auction. The stand that you see in the pictures is also included and I had it custom made ($800) by the same guy who used to make this stand for Hammond several years ago so that it looks just like a B3 would when everything is set up (minus the weight!). The keyboards will ship in the custom built cases that I had made that are also shown in the pictures. I have used this Reg for a few years now and absolutely LOVE it. The only reason I am getting rid of it is because I recently had a stroke and I can no longer lift this kind of gear or transport it and set it up by myself. I use this rig with with an external Leslie 147 foot switch for the Leslie speed control and if you're considering using a Leslie you will need to get an interface that allows you to interface with your Leslie. I could never get the leslie's button on the xk3c to work with an external Leslie but that was possibly because of the interface that I was using was for a 122 instead of a 147. **No external Leslie interface is included in this auction**. I also have a custom little wood plate that at I can include as well that velcros on top of this rig and allows you to place another keyboard like a nord on top and balances it perfectly and securely.The XK3 comes with the memory card along with Jim Alfredsen's custom tone wheels already loaded and updated!! It also has 2 upgraded and really nice warm vintage 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes that I secured that make this rig sound fantastic. I have put this rig side by side with my 1965 B3 and blindfolded it is now literally next to impossible to tell the difference!!This gear is used. The condition is shown also in the pictures - as it is used there are a few scratches on this unit and on the stand as I did gig with it but it was cared for lovingly in a smoke free studio and is in good condition mechanically and otherwise. The bottom unit was modified slightly in the back to accommodate running all cables thru the bottom and then hiding them as much as possible where they plug into the xk3c. All draw bars work perfectly and the stereo Leslie simulation also works really well although I would recommend a Leslie strongly because im a purist at heart that any Hammond rig needs to push and move air...More Information can be found on my band's web site(You will have to edit this website below because eBay does not allow links to be posted in listings)thezins dot com/xk3CEach of these pieces of equipment are all heavy!
