This is a beautiful Bach Stradivarius Bb trumpet. Model 38, which is a rare find. This trumpet was built in 1967 in Indiana; serial number 41625. This is a silver plated brass trumpet. It has a beautiful fluid, compact, bright sound. It is the perfect trumpet for a professional career player, college trumpet player, or an advanced high school player who is planning on playing into college. It has been very well maintained, and I just got it fully chemical cleaned, along with regreasing slides, replacing cork, etc. Trumpet players who see this trumpet always ask about it, and drool over it once they take a good look (especially after seeing the low serial number). I absolutely loved playing it myself. I no longer play (family life and a career has caught up), so I would like this trumpet to go to a good home where it will be put to good use and taken care of. This is the last trumpet you will ever buy as a career trumpet player. There are a few tiny dings in the trumpet. There are a few small areas where the silver plating has slightly rubbed off, showing the original vintage brass behind it. This is otherwise a great condition trumpet that has been babied throughout its decades of use. It is a true gem, hard to find a model 38 out there with a low serial.I am happy to include my 3C mouthpiece (also just chem cleaned), and cleaning cloth, valve oil, and the original case. Please shoot me an email if you are interested and have any questions at all.
