1989 Sonor Signature Series HLD590 Bell Bronze Snare Drum. 14"Diameter x 8" Depth, with 12 Lugs. Widely considered the most sought after snare drum of all time. This drum is 1 of approximately 200 of these snares that were built in 1988 and 1989. It's an incredibly rare and amazing sounding snare drum.I purchased this drum from the original owner, who received the drum from Sonor in 1990(stamp date on the shell is November 1989). All parts are original to the drum, and everything functions properly. The shell and the copper plating both have a considerable amount of tarnish/oxidation. This is common for these drums, but it should be stated. The outdoor photos(1-8) highlight the tarnish on the shell, while the indoor photos(9-12) highlight the tarnish on the copper plating.The drum comes outfitted with new Evans heads and Puresound wires. Coated G1 on top, Orchestral 300 on bottom, and Puresound PZ1422 wires. The top head has about 30 min. of play/tune time on it.I am also including a $300 King Kong Flight Case designed specifically for this drum. The drum will ship inside this case, fully insured, with a signature required for delivery.Shipping is FREE to the Continental 48 US ONLY. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
