This is an absolutely amazing guitar. Everywhere I take it here in NYC people spin on their heels and ask what it is. It sat for 3 years recently at legendary recording studio Electric Lady (the studio Jimi Hedrix built in the West Village here where I live and work as an assistant engineer) as a kick around guitar in Studio C where people like Al Green, D'Angelo and Jenifer Lopez jammed on it. The top was sunken in when I dug it up (was kicked out of a loft in Brooklyn and was given this as my 1500 security deposit uhg), I took it over to the Magic Shop in SOHO and had a luthier named Izzy (Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck etc) reset the top for a cool $300 and it plays like new. This guitar looks like Hank Williams Sr. or even D'jango Rheinhart himself might have owned it, its about as vintagey cool as a guitar could possibly get and everyone in the room will notice it. Plus, it sounds and plays beautifully! Ive been offered a grand for it before and most recently offered a straight up trade for a Gretsch Silverjet which I SHOULD have taken but didn't at the time. I planned on handing down this weathered playboy to my kids one day but rent is a callin'Happy BiddingShipped in a Taylor guitar shipping box inside a padded Bodyglove gig bag wrapped securely in Bubble wrap.
