Here's a 1963 Gibson ES-335 in a factory original Cherry finish. This guitar is in pretty nice condition for a 50+ year old instrument. It looks mostly original and has no cracks or repairs. The finish is pretty clean and reasonably glossy with some checking. There's a few little indents, light scratches and marks on the top and back- see pic's. The Patent Sticker humbuckers are original and the solder joints are unmoletsed. The Sprague cap is visible thru the sound hole. The volume and tone pots work well and are free of scratchiness. It plays very nicely with the sideways trem and it a good, straight neck. It has the original frets which are in decent condition. The sideways Gibson vibrato and "Custom Made" plaque are original and suggest it was a custom ordered guitar. It weighs 8.9 lbs and is 1 11/16's at the nut. The nut is newer- the rest of the guitar looks all original. Please look at all 50+ pictures- they accurately represent the very nice condition of this instrument.
