This is a demo model Gretsch guitar that is currently on display in the world renowned Gretschworld showroom at Cream City Music. The guitar is in nearly mint condition but does show evidence of being carefully handled and played a few times in our showroom. It hearkens back to Gretsch's earlier days by revisiting the year that gave birth to Gretsch's Duo Jet, so this one stays true to its roots. The guitar's chambered mahogany body and comfortable "U" shaped neck provide excellent resonance and stability throughout. Its dual T-Armond pickups and treble bleed circuit are specially designed to recreate the original 1953 Duo Jet's DynaSonic pickup tone, which is perfect for blues-rock playing, while having a diverse enough sonic palette to appeal to a variety of playing styles.
